3000 saplings were planted in Kyalasanahalli Lake to create a boundary of trees all around the lake. These trees will not only support the lake but will also be home to thousands of birds. This plantation drive was supported by corporates under their CSR initiatives. Employees of the corporate and nature lovers from all across the city came forward to volunteer and plant all the saplings. More than 1550 volunteer took part in the plantation and made sure the lake gets 3000 saplings. Saplings were planted to celebrate World Environment Day 2017. SayTrees is planting saplings in the cities to increase green cover and fight pollution.
