18 acres Nanjapura lake has been rejuvenated with financial support from Intel under their CSR initiative. For the rejuvenation of this lake, SayTrees is honoured to partner with Mr Anand Malligavad, also known as the lake man of India, who designed and executed the project. Post rejuvenation this lake will hold about 180 million liters of water. A big boost to the water table in nearby areas. 6200 saplings have been planted around the lake. The lake will be sourrounded by thousands of trees in years to come. These trees will not only support lake's eco-system but will also be home to thousands of birds.
Nanjapura lake rejuvenation is funded by Intel under their mission to conserve water all across the globe. This is their first project in Bengaluru, India.
